Struxture was engaged as Head Contractor to deliver the redevelopment of the Clayton Pharmacy at Monash Medical Centre, acritical operational facility supporting hospital-wide clinical services. Working within a live hospital environment, the project required extensive planning with Monash Health’s capital team to ensure continuity of pharmacy operations, staged access, controlled shutdowns, and strict adherence to clinical risk protocols.
The redevelopment included comprehensive upgrades across structural and architectural elements, as well as major services packages including mechanical, electrical, fire and hydraulics. Installation of specialist pharmaceutical equipment, stainless-steel laboratory joinery, clean-room infrastructure and updated workstation systems required significant coordination with Monash Health engineering, commissioning representatives and ongoing IFC design updates.
