Our team was engaged by Department of Primary Industries Victoria for the Attwood Biosecurity Glasshouse redevelopment. The project consolidated many of the Department’s sites across Metropolitan Melbourne to a central collaborative office and laboratory space at the Attwood site.
The state-of-the-art specialist facility was constructed to quarantine containment level 2 (QC2) standards and involved creating a secure glasshouse facility, multi-purpose room and chemical storage area. The new facility boasts new laboratory spaces for the operations of the Department of Primary Industries’ Biosecurity Victoria, accommodating 40 staff from the existing Attwood and Frankston precincts.
