La Trobe University engaged Struxture under a Design and Construct Contract for refurbishment of the Chancellery offices at the Bundoora Campus.
The client's brief comprised three key elements; Acoustic upgrade, Thermal Comfort upgrade and Space Optimisation. Struxture collaborated closely with University stake holders, design consultants and trade contractors to deliver a successful refurbishment project within an operational environment.
The project delivered a range of new work environments including individual nooks, small meeting rooms, collaborative spaces and two large meeting spaces complete with bespoke state-of-the-art audio visual equipment. The new spaces are complimented with a range of acoustic treatments, upgraded lighting, upgraded heating and cooling, bespoke joinery and carefully considered furniture selections.
